When women inquire about a shoot at Boudoir by Lynette (located right in the heart of downtown Wenatchee, WA), I get all kinds of questions, including the top 12 questions that clients usually ask. So, I decided to put the most common ones together in one place to help you feel a little more prepared and a lot more confident before booking your session.

1. DO YOU SHARE MY IMAGES?
Only if you want me to. Privacy and trust are everything in my studio. You’ll have three options when it comes to your model release:

1. No sharing at all — your images stay completely private, just between us.
2. Yes to all sharing — full permission to share on social media, website, and marketing.
3. VIP Group only — only shared inside my private, women-only Facebook group.

You’re in full control of what’s shared and where.

Also — it’s just us gals. My team is all women. During your session, it’ll just be me, my assistant, our hair & makeup artist, and you in the studio.

2. DO I HAVE TO WEAR LINGERIE?
Not at all. Lingerie is an option, not a requirement. What you wear depends entirely on your style and comfort level. I’ve had clients rock bodysuits, slouchy sweaters, sheer robes, their partner’s button-down, even leather jackets. When you book, you’ll get a full guide with outfit ideas to help you plan.

3. DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes — and they’re super flexible. Most of my clients choose a Pre-Payment Plan, which lets you book your session months in advance and pay it off over time. When you go this route, you also unlock some luxe session bonuses. The best part? By the time your shoot happens, it’s already paid for — no stress, no surprises.

We also accept credit cards, cash, Affirm, Afterpay, Klarna, and Google Pay.

And if traditional financing isn’t the right fit, we’ve partnered with an in-house financing provider who can help when we need to get a little creative. The goal is simple: to make this experience accessible and attainable for anyone who wants it.

4. IS HAIR & MAKEUP INCLUDED?
Hair and makeup are included in most sessions, because it makes a huge difference in how you feel. Our in-house glam team will work with your style — whether you want a fresh, natural vibe or full-on glam. You’re welcome to bring Pinterest inspo to your appointment, and we’ll bring the vision to life. Most of my clients say their confidence kicks in the second they see themselves in the mirror.

For mini sessions and model calls, hair and makeup may be an add-on. I’ll walk you through what’s included when you book.

5. DO YOU RETOUCH OR PHOTOSHOP MY IMAGES?
Yes — with intention. Every image is edited for light, color, and a little polish. Once you choose your final images, a soft retouch is done to remove things like blemishes, bruises, or temporary marks. Features that make you uniquely you are always celebrated, not edited away.

Additional retouching can be done for a per-image fee if requested.

6. WHERE SHOULD I SHOP FOR OUTFITS?
You get to bring outfits that feel like you — whether that’s something sexy, soft, edgy, or unexpected. Once you book, you’ll receive a full prep guide with outfit ideas, inspiration, and links to some of my favorite shops like Amazon, Adore Me, Victoria’s Secret, Torrid, Hips & Curves, ASOS, Forever 21, Savage X Fenty, SHEIN, and more. At the studio, we also have a curated selection of accessories — including robes, stockings, jewelry, and yes… our iconic red bottom heels — to help elevate your look. If you’re unsure what will flatter your body or match your vibe, I’m happy to help you pull it all together so you feel confident, comfortable, and fully you in every shot.

7. WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU OFFER?
I offer a curated selection of high-end, custom products designed to showcase your images beautifully for years to come. Client favorites include luxury folio boxes with 5×7 mounted prints, metal wall art, and our most popular piece — the heirloom album. It’s timeless, durable, and absolutely stunning.

All of our products are sourced from the best vendors I’ve personally hand-selected, including fine artisans in Greece and Ireland. I’ve taken the time to find items that feel as special as the experience itself — because your images deserve to live somewhere extraordinary.

Whether you want to display them proudly or keep them tucked away as a personal keepsake, there’s something here for every style and story.

8. DO YOU OFFER DIGITAL IMAGES?
Yes. We offer digital bundles, and most album collections come with the corresponding digital images. You’ll receive your selected images in a private, downloadable gallery — perfect for saving, sharing, or printing on your own terms.

9. I’M FREAKING OUT. HOW DO I CALM MY NERVES?
Feeling a little nervous? Completely normal — and expected. That’s why I’ve built this into the experience. You’ll get plenty of prep info ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect. Once you arrive, we ease into the day with hair and makeup, good music, and a relaxed vibe. Within minutes, most clients start to feel comfortable — and by the time the camera’s clicking, that nervous energy turns into pure confidence.

10. HOW MANY OUTFITS SHOULD I BRING?
Bringing 3–5 outfits you feel amazing in is the perfect place to start. These can be anything from cozy and casual to bold and sultry — whatever reflects your energy and style. When you arrive, we’ll look through everything together and choose the best looks to match your session vibe. A few thoughtfully chosen pieces go a long way in creating variety while keeping the focus on you.

11. SHOULD I ARRIVE EARLY?
There’s no need to arrive early — every session is carefully scheduled to create a seamless, stress-free experience. Your time is fully reserved, and I’ll be ready for you right on time. If you do find yourself in town a bit early, La Vie En Bakery is nearby and has amazing coffee and Italian sodas. It’s a perfect spot to relax for a few minutes and ease into your day.

12. WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO LOCATED?
Boudoir by Lynette is located in a professional commercial space in the heart of downtown Wenatchee, WA. This isn’t a makeshift setup or someone’s spare room — it’s a thoughtfully designed studio built to give you a luxury experience from the moment you walk in. Clean, private, welcoming, and 100% focused on making you feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
